Program Benefits
Buzzy Beehive is designed to increase each child’s self-concept by providing activities in which the child is free to choose and learn new skills at his/her own pace. Teachers guide and encourage children to succeed at small experiences which help them develop courage to try increasingly difficult tasks and experience greater success. Many creative experiences are provided so that the child will learn to work and play independently in a non-competitive environment. In learning to live cooperatively, the child will learn the importance of their rights and the rights of others. The program is designed to be free of race and sex role biases and stereotyping.
